SCI International, Inc. a Maryland-based corporation, was established in 1985, through a collaboration between an experienced international sales/marketer and a longtime medical diagnostics research scientist to promote and sell nationally and privately branded OTC and HBA products in the American and international markets. More recently, special emphasis has been put on developing, promoting and marketing quality, affordable rapid diagnostic test kits, which have been selected because they equal or exceed the performance levels of more expensive national brands.

This new focus continues to open up many exciting opportunities for SCI International as more high performance, low cost items are added to the company's inventory. because of the company's affiliation with several, independent research facilities, quality products have been brought to the market place which otherwise would have remained unavailable to the discriminating consumer. Thus, in addition to rapid, one-step tests for pregnancy and ovulation, the company's expanded distribution included diagnostic testing kits for: infectious diseases, STDs (sexually transmitted diseases), drugs of abuse and bio chemistries.

All the diagnostics are a one-step process that test via samples of whole blood, serum or urine. Most of company's diagnostics are FDA approved and laboratory tested for quality assurance.
